A Certificate of Registration issued to a registered geologist and registered practitioner shall expire on the 31 December of the year from the date the certificate of registration is issued.
The certificate may be renewed annually upon payment ofrenewal fee as prescribed in Second Schedule of the Geologists (Registration of Geologists) Regulations 2015.
The Board may refuse to renew the registration of a registered geologist and registered practitioner if he/she has failed to satisfy any conditions as determined by the Board.
An application for renewal of registration must be submitted to the Board before 31st January in any year. Application shall consist of:
- Application form, Form F (#link) along with :-
- Proof of payment for renewal fee;
- CPD record; and
- Other information as may be required by the Board.
Failure to renew registration before the 1st February in any year, shall cause the name of registered person be removed from the Register as specifies in section 34(b) of the Act.
